Phenyl vinyl silicone oil, also known as divinyl-terminated phenyl silicone oil, appears as a transparent viscous liquid at ambient temperature. It contains active double bonds and can readily react with polyurethane, acrylic acid and other organic materials, rendering it irreplaceable in numerous high-end manufacturing sectors.
Phenyl vinyl silicone oil is available in various grades. Classified by vinyl content, its typical vinyl content ranges from 0.1% to 3.0%. By phenyl content, it can be categorized into low-phenyl vinyl silicone oil, medium-phenyl vinyl silicone oil and high-phenyl vinyl silicone oil. Low-phenyl grades feature excellent low-temperature resistance, while high-phenyl grades boast merits including high temperature resistance, high refractive index and high light transmittance.
